For the third consecutive year, ALDI wins the price-performance award in the food retail industry, securing price leadership.
Customers can trust ALDI Nord and ALDI SÜD to consistently provide high quality goods at competitive prices. The opinion research organisation YouGov’s most recent study supports this.
Germans believe that ALDI offers the best overall value in the food retail industry. This is demonstrated by the price-performance rating released this year by the Handelsblatt and the multinational data & analytics company YouGov*. ALDI won the top spot in the food retail category this year with 54.9 points on a scale of -100 to +100. As a result, ALDI wins the price-performance award for the third consecutive year.

ALDI OUTPERFORMED ABOUT 900 OTHER BRANDS IN THE OVERALL RANKING ALDI is at the top of the overall rating. ALDI was once again able to win the price-performance ranking in the food retail category this year and achieve second place in the overall ranking of more than 900 approved brands, according to Felix Leiendecker, Head of Products Team DACH at YouGov Germany. “In times of historically high inflation and extreme price sensitivity,” he adds.
Results of the value for money ranking are based on over 900,000 online interviews that YouGov performed in 2022. Almost 926 brands were evaluated by the respondents. Only brands with at least a 20% aided awareness rating were examined.
