Princes Group Appoints Simon Harrison As Its New CEO
British food chain Princess has appointed Simon Harrison as its new leader, the company announced. Before this, Harrison was responsible for important functions within the company. He helped develop it in various industries.
Princess says he has also secured new major customers, making his business more successful than last year.
“Simon is doing a great job and we look forward to him as CEO,” said Kazuhito Suematsu, who leads the Princess Group.
Another person, Cameron McIntosh, who helped invest in Princess, is leaving the company.
Simon Harrison has a wealth of experience in the food industry. He worked for Coca-Cola before joining Princess.
Harrison said he is excited about his new job. He wants to help Princes thrive while still being good for the environment.
Princess says it will focus on what customers want and work to grow in smart ways.
Another Italian company, Neulat, wanted to buy the Princess, but the talks were halted when Japanese owner Mitsubishi said no to the offer.
Some British and Italian companies are also interested in buying Princess, but no deals have yet been signed.
