At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, John Deere will show off new excavator models and machines from the next generation.
John Deere has a long history of giving its customers new technology and tools. At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, it will show off a number of new and updated excavator models, including the new 85 P-Tier and 510 P-Tier current generation excavators. In addition to these new model changes, John Deere will also show off the first look at their brand-new excavators for the next generation. Both kinds of changes show how John Deere can use technology from across the company to add advanced features and smart solutions to its full line of John Deere excavators. This helps to change the product line and give John Deere customers a better experience.
Aaron Klauer, John Deere’s global product manager for mid- and large-size excavators, said, “We are beyond excited about the future of our excavator line-up, including the new models that are available to our customers today and the machines that are being designed and built with an eye toward the future.” “We are always paying attention to what the industry needs, and our next-generation excavator models not only use what we’ve learned from our customers but also draw on John Deere’s decades of global excavator experience to bring the most innovative and game-changing machines to market.”
Compared to the 85 G-Tier, the new 85 P-Tier has an 18% more powerful engine and a turbo for better performance at high altitudes. Improvements to hydraulic performance include more pump power and better dig forces. The bigger, redesigned cab has an 8-inch screen with Bluetooth and a 270-degree camera system built into the main screen. The 85 P-Tier machine has been updated so that it is easier to get to for repairs and has optional features like an angle blade with float and continuous flow auxiliary hydraulics. These changes improve the machine’s performance and versatility.
The 510 P-Tier is a new type that will replace the 470 P-Tier. It weighs 51 metric tons. With a variable undercarriage and the ability to handle buckets of 5 yards or more, this new model will continue to offer the best performance and capabilities in its class, with a focus on lowering running costs and improving reliability for customers. By using an E-fan and a more efficient powertrain, this new model has up to 25% lower upkeep costs, 15% lower repair costs, and 20% less fuel consumption. This machine is made to give customers excellent performance in mass excavation or deep underground uses while also lowering the cost of ownership by a lot.
John Deere is also proud to introduce its next-generation excavators, which are built on a long history of excavators around the world. Using decades of knowledge and a strong network of John Deere dealers, the next generation of excavators are made to be the most capable and up-to-date ones on the market. This lets John Deere come up with new ideas and offer solutions that put the customer first faster than ever before.
John Deere will be able to use forward-thinking technology in its next generation of excavators with the help of advanced solutions that have been made for other product lines and production systems across the company. John Deere will also use partnerships and agreements it already has in place to give its users the most useful machines.
Klauer said, “Our future John Deere excavators will be made to make your job easier and safer, with the contractor’s bottom line in mind. This will help give our customers a competitive edge.” We know how important it is to bring in and keep skilled operators. That’s why we’re putting a new cab, new controls, new screens, and new technology at the top of our list.
At this year’s show, customers can try out tools from the next generation, like the 145 P-Tier, 210 P-Tier, and 360 P-Tier. These models are made to offer the best performance, reliability, and longevity in the industry. For example, the 145 P-Tier machine with a reduced tail swing is the only machine in the industry with a full-size cab. The next generation of excavators will use a full set of John Deere’s advanced technology solutions to improve connectivity, safety, automation, and grade management.
At this year’s CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2023, the John Deere outdoor booth in the Silver Lot will show off both new and upcoming tractor models. (S5020). You can find more information at www.deere.com/vegas2023.
