Agreement Between Huawei and Telkomsel for Indonesia’s Future-Ready Digital Vision
By adopting “GUIDE to Future Telco,” Huawei and Telkomsel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in joint technology development. With the ultimate goal of continuing Telkomsel’s transformation into a leading Digital Telco in Indonesia, the two parties will collaborate on the company’s future evolution plan. By enhancing their collaboration on digital infrastructure and exploring the possibility of brand-new digital business development, the two groups will work to offer consumers and businesses in Indonesia the best digital experiences and cutting-edge services.
In order to explore the future ICT infrastructure’s evolution and implement the “Guide to the Intelligent World” idea, the framework memorandum of cooperation was created. To support Telkomsel’s long-term network evolution plan, the two parties will work together to jointly explore the most recent technological developments. To offer customers gigabit network services and unique customer experiences, the two parties will work together in network technologies like wireless ELAA (extreme-Large Antenna Array), ultra-wideband multi-antenna technologies, digital intelligence transformation, FMC innovation, and green development. In addition to working together on technology, both sides will work together on developing their digital businesses.
The signing ceremony was attended by executives from both parties, including Lin Baifeng, president of Huawei Asia Pacific Region, and Pak Hendri Mulya Syam, CEO of Telkomsel.
Telkomsel CEO Hendri Mulya Syam stated, “By partnering with Huawei, Telkomsel guaranteed the sustainability of the company’s digital transformation plan by continuing to develop and implement the latest technology that will thrive the telco industry and nation with cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, the partnership will help Telkomsel offer the best service for a digital experience by providing more complete solutions that meet the needs of the customer and the industry.
