The latest update on the buyback of Ahold Delhaize shares was published on January 17, 2023.

17 January in Zaandam, the Netherlands, 2023 – During the time period beginning on January 9, 2023, and continuing through and including January 13, 2023, Ahold Delhaize was able to repurchase 596,628 of its common shares. The cost of the repurchased shares came out to an average of €27.73 per share, with the total consideration amounting to €16.5 million. In accordance with the one billion euro share repurchase program that was introduced on November 9th, 2022, these purchases were made.

To date, this program has resulted in the reacquisition of a total of 1,166,243 common shares for a total consideration of €32.1 million.
