The largest Ramadan sustainable food aid endowment fund will be established through the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign, which was started by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign, run by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, seeks to develop long-lasting remedies and put in place successful initiatives to combat hunger and assist underprivileged populations worldwide.
The donation to the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign, according to Yusuffali MA, “is a reflection of my dedication to support all charitable endeavours that enhance the UAE’s standing as a global hub for humanitarian efforts.
“It is a pleasure for me to support the cause and contribute to feeding the hungry and helping those in need. The UAE is constantly leading the charge in relief efforts.
The current campaign builds on earlier food assistance campaigns that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum directed to be launched over the previous few years. The first of these was “10 Million Meals,” which was followed by “100 Million Meals” and “1 Billion Meals” in Ramadan 2022.
The “1 Billion Meals Endowment” initiative seeks to give underprivileged populations in nations that struggle with food insecurity a safety net for food. These initiatives will aid in the battle against hunger and malnutrition, particularly among crisis and natural disaster victims.
