SPAR Hungary invests more than €1.98 million in a new grocery store.

The launch of a new 984-square-meter supermarket in Sárospatak, which is located in the northern part of the country, is part of SPAR Hungary’s ongoing effort to expand its store network.

A total of more than 1.98 million Euros was invested in the construction of the cutting-edge grocery store that features energy-saving design and has room for 20 new team members.

The new SPAR Supermarket may be reached quickly and conveniently as a result of its location adjacent to major thoroughfares. There are 52 parking spots accessible for clients to use. Customers are greeted as they enter the market by the fruit and vegetable department that is located there.

In addition to this, refrigerators provide access to a variety of products that are intended to save time. Following that is the bakery section, as well as an area that provides warm meals that are produced within the store.

In the back of the grocery store is an area with refrigerated counters that are stocked with meat and dairy products. There is also a self-service deli section in the store. The product offering is finished off with a selection of beverages and frozen foods.

A self-service checkout option is accessible for customers, putting an emphasis on convenience.

LED lighting has been installed throughout the store in order to contribute to SPAR Hungary’s efforts to reduce its environmental impact.

The cooling system is powered by technology that is kind to the environment and is based on CO2. In order to save money on electricity, every refrigerator has a door on it.

“Providing clients with the highest possible level of service while maintaining environmentally responsible business practises is a strategic goal for SPAR Hungary.

In light of this, we are carrying on with our store development project, which enables us to open up new locations,” stated Márk Maczelka, Head of Communications at SPAR Hungary.
