On December 11, 2022, the 28th SPAR European Cross Country Championships will be held.
The SPAR European Cross Country Championships will take place in Italy on Sunday, December 11, 2022, with SPAR serving as the event’s proud primary sponsor. On the suburbs of Turin in Piemonte,
La Mandria Park will host the 28th iteration of the championships. There will be 528 competitors competing (276 men and 252 women) from 37 different nations. Since 1996, SPAR has benefited from increased brand exposure thanks to its sponsorship of European Athletics.
The top distance runners from Europe in the U20, U23, and senior divisions compete in the most significant cross-country competition on the European Athletics calendar. The most recent addition to the annual schedule is a mixed relay.
The 3,600-hectare La Mandria Park in Piemonte is thought to be the biggest enclosed park in Europe. The imposing and beautiful La Mandria Castle, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site, serves as the setting for the championships.
