Carrefour, which has been a long-standing partner of the operation since 2003, is continuing its support for Operation Yellow Coins in order to make a contribution to the financing of projects that enhance the living conditions of children who are confined to hospitals across France. Building on these 20 years of relationship, the brand will once again lend support to the operation this year through a bolstered and multichannel partnership, utilising all of the Group’s levers to generate the most amount of money possible.

Customers who shop at Carrefour stores will have the opportunity to contribute to the Yellow Coins collection that will take place at the cash registers, due to the many donation options that will be available. This year marks the first time that all integrated supermarkets and hypermarkets will round up customers’ purchases in an act of solidarity, which will result in an increase in the total amount donated. Customers will also have the opportunity to contribute digitally by scanning the QR code that will be displayed in stores, and cardboard piggy banks will also be made available to them for this purpose.

Finally, Carrefour Spectacles is going to be the exclusive partner of the Gala Pièces Jaunes, and they are going to give all of the money that they make from the sale to the Pièces Jaunes. Carrefour Spectacles will participate in the concert event that is being put on by the Fondation des Hôpitaux on January 25, 2023 at the Zénith de Paris by distributing unique tickets. The concert is scheduled to take place at the Zénith de Paris. Carrefour locations around the country will begin selling tickets for the event on January 13 at a cost of 15 euros each.

Carrefour, which is proud to be a partner of the national collection of Yellow Coins for the past 20 years, is deploying this year a strengthened and omnichannel partnership, which includes collection in stores in piggy banks, in cash registers with solidarity rounding, and a marketing operation by Carrefour Spectacles of the first Gala des Pièces Jaunes. Carrefour has been a proud partner of the national collection of Yellow Coins for the past 20 years. The dedication of the Carrefour Group to the Fondation des Hôpitals is exemplified by this collaboration that encompasses all aspects of the organisation.
Executive Director of Engagement at the Carrefour Group, Carine Kraus
