SpartanNash Appoints Erin Storm as SVP and CMO

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 26, 2024 – SpartanNash (Nasdaq: SPTN), a leading food solutions company, proudly announces the appointment of Erin Storm as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Erin Storm, with a robust background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing, is set to lead the company’s marketing initiatives, focusing on enhancing the OwnBrands portfolio, driving retail marketing programs, and optimizing e-commerce and digital experiences.

She joins SpartanNash following an 18-year tenure at Kellogg’s® and its spin-off, Kellanova™, where she most recently served as Vice President of Commercial Strategy. In her previous role as Vice President of Marketing, Erin Storm managed brand and innovation strategies across the $3 billion salty snacks category, working with iconic brands like Pringles®, Cheez-It, and Club® Crackers. Her leadership on the Cheez-It brand marketing team was instrumental in high-profile campaigns, such as the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, and her team’s work earned national recognition, including an Andy Award for the 2024 Pringles Super Bowl® advertisement.

Her extensive experience with brands such as Froot Loops®, Frosted Mini Wheats®, Special K®, Rice Krispies Treats®, Eggo®, MorningStar Farms®, and more, positions Erin Storm to significantly impact SpartanNash’s growth and market penetration.

Erin Storm holds dual undergraduate degrees in marketing and finance from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
