This chocolate bar, part of Aldi’s private label, adheres to Tony’s Open Chain’s responsible cocoa sourcing principles. Aldi ensures 100% ethically sourced cocoa, paying fair wages to cocoa farmers in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. These practices support the farmers’ livelihoods while delivering a high-quality, affordable product.

Choceur CHOCO CHANGER now comes in three flavors: Honeycomb Nougat, Caramel Brownie, and Salty Fudge Almond, priced at £2.25 each. Aldi continues to provide budget-conscious shoppers with ethical and delicious choices.

Aldi, the first discount retailer to join Tony’s Open Chain in 2020, aims to make 100% of its own-label cocoa products in the UK and Ireland certified by Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, or Cocoa Horizons by 2025.

Liz Fox, National Sustainability Director at Aldi UK, praised the collaboration with Tony’s Open Chain, noting it allows Aldi to offer ethical and affordable chocolate. Sanne van Zon-Arts, Head of Sales at Tony’s Open Chain, echoed the importance of their shared mission to transform global cocoa supply chains.

Aldi’s private-label chocolate bar combines value and ethical sourcing, providing an excellent choice for socially conscious consumers.

Aldi’s own-brand chocolate bar will deliver both ethical standards and affordability, aligning with the company’s commitment to responsible cocoa sourcing.
