During May, SPAR Slovenia in collaboration with Simbioza NGO is organizing free-of-charge digital workshops within INTERSPAR stores across Slovenia. These lessons, which are each expected to take 45 minutes, target at teaching clients how they can download and use the SPAR Plus app on their smartphones especially the elderly.
The SPAR Plus app is a one-stop shop for many services including:
- Coupons and discounts
- Weekly menu offers
- Digital flyers
- Recipes
- Shopping lists
- Prize games
- News updates
The goal of these digital workshops is to create a better shopping experience by simplifying the process of utilizing them. Lea Cimperman Acman, Head Public Relations SPAR Slovenia said that it is important for all customers to be assisted in adjusting to the new technology with focus given on elderly persons
