Kroger Celebrates Summer Solstice with Massive Ice Cream Giveaway

Kroger Celebrates Summer Solstice with Massive Ice Cream Giveaway. As the summer solstice approaches, The Kroger Company (NYSE: KR) is committed to helping customers cool off with fun food. To mark the longest day of the year, Kroger will give away 50 pints of its Kroger® brand ice cream for every minute of sunshine on June 20, 2024. This ambitious giveaway will total 45,000 pints of ice cream incredibly free, to 900 minutes of daylight.

In honor of the 15 hours of constant sunshine, customers can go to FreeKrogerIceCream.com to claim their free pint with a special one-time digital coupon. This special offer will only be available on June 20, 2024, and can be redeemed at Kroger family stores while supplies last.

“Summer means more time with loved ones, more poolside fun, and more opportunities to enjoy our favorite foods,” said Juan De Paoli, Kroger’s Vice President of Our Brands. “How no better way to spend a perfect summer than with sunshine and Kroger® Brand ice cream and 15 hours of daylight. We are excited to offer more ice cream to our customers.”

This offer allows customers to indulge in a variety of Kroger brand ice cream flavors. Popular options include the colorful Kroger® Brand Deluxe Tie Dye Burst, which combines twisted vanilla, cherry, and blue moon flavors, as well as favorites like Mint Chocolate Chip, Vivid Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip. These varieties ensure that everyone can find a new summer flavor favorite. For new summer essentials and daily savings, shoppers can visit Kroger.com or the Kroger app, which includes more than $600 in weekly digital coupons.

Customers can also purchase ice cream and other items in-store and at Kroger Pickup and Delivery. These businesses always ensure that they have the same wide range of products at lower prices. For even more savings, customers can join the Boost by Kroger Plus membership program that offers perks like 2x fuel points, free grocery delivery, and special discounts, which can save members up to $1,000 per year.

The free ice cream promotion is valid in all U.S. states except California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia.
