Morrisons Has Announced The Expansion Of Its Partnership With Just Eat

Morrisons Extends Ties with Just Eat So That 380 Supermarkets Will Provide Delivery Services Nationwide

In addition to its usual delivery services, Morrisons is now offering grocery deliveries through over 380 supermarkets across the country as part of an expansion on their partnership with Just Eat. The aim is to provide everything that customers need by bringing it right up to their doorstep.

History and Expansion of Morrisons – Just Eat Partnership

  • Original Agreement: In 2022, Morrisons collaborated with Just Eat to deliver meals from their cafes.
  • Including Convenience Stores: By December 2023, sixty Morrisons Daily convenience stores had been added to the deal; now there are nearly seven hundred of these shops in the Just Eat network.
  • Further Growth: With this latest extension, customers can make use of Just Eat services at any one of three hundred eighty branches belonging to Morrisons throughout Britain thereby making access easy for people who may want a variety ranging from everyday essentials all the way up fresh Market Street items or even last-minute treats.

Service Provisions

Customers will be able to order groceries from Morrisons using the Just Eat website or app; several thousand items are available for delivery. For every basket worth £15 or more containing only products sold by Morrisons itself, free deliveries will be made until New Year’s Eve next year – in line with JustEat’s commitment towards being affordable and convenient.

Statements by Both Parties Involved

  • Charlotte Exell (Morrisons Online Operations Director): “Building on our successful collaboration with Just Eat, we are delighted to offer another quick and easy method for consumers who want Morrison’s goods brought straight at home. Whatever ways people opt for shopping, we always strive to give quality products at low prices.”
  • Amy Heather (JustEat UK Director of Strategic Accounts): “Last year alone more than million individuals bought groceries through Just Eat which shows there is an increasing demand from our customers for this type of service. As people look for more convenient ways of shopping, extending our partnership with Morrisons reflects this trend and also demonstrates how committed we are as a company towards giving consumers different choices in terms of value so they can get what they need wherever and whenever.”

Strategic Significance

This expanded relationship helps Just Eat reach its goal of being there during all customer occasions even if they occur late in the evening, involve buying something urgently or require that hot drinks be brought round quickly; now seventy eight percent of UK postcodes have access to retail outlets owned by them where such items can be purchased conveniently.
