TriMas Packaging revealed the retention of EcoVadis Gold rating by the Rieke LLC branches in the United States for their Governance, Environmental, and Social (GES) policies in January, 2025. Out of 130,000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis, these sites are in the top 5% of the list due to their ESG scoring.
EcoVadis is an International authority for assessment of business sustainability. Their evaluations are based on international standards including the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization conventions, Global Reporting Initiative standards, and ISO 26000. Companies are assessed across 21 criteria grouped into four core themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Attaining a Gold rating means that the achieving company has accomplished great results in the measurement of the criteria.
This award goes to TriMas Packaging that has bolstered their sustainable responsibility and comprehensive business processes throughout the years. Efforts were made towards lesser impact on the environment, protection of human rights, and procurement sustainability. This commitment is a part of the broader strategy of the company to accommodate fully ESG principles within its operations.
