Tetra Pak’s Appoints Sara De Simoni as Executive Vice President

Sara De Simoni recently took on the role of Tetra Pak’s Executive Vice President (EVP) of Development & Technology (D&T) on September 01, 2024. In this capacity, Sara De Simoni will concentrate on innovation, increasing commercial flexibility, and developing sustainable packaging automation for Tetra Pak’s customers around the world.

For more than 24 years with Tetra Pak, Sara De Simoni has made her mark in various innovations in solutions development, program management, and equipment engineering. She will be valuable in achieving the company’s goal of providing high value solutions to customers while delivering on its promise to create the world’s most sustainable paper-based packaging for food and beverages.

Tetra Pak CEO Adolfo Orive noted that her appointment was also a major step for the company, underscoring her importance to Tetra Pak’s leadership team. Her participation starts from Lausanne, Switzerland where she is directly supervised by Orive as well as works alongside Tetra Pak’s global innovation teams.

On her appointment, Sara De Simoni, who will oversee the talented Development & Technology team, expressed her eagerness to work in her new role.

She stated, “I view this as a chance to continue actively pursuing innovation, design excellence, and groundbreaking sustainable packaging solutions. Our primary focus will always be on delivering solutions that revolve around our customers.”Sara De Simoni’s experience includes managing Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions in Modena, Italy, and serving as Vice President of Programme Management in D&T. With her strong technical skills and proven leadership, the company is well positioned to achieve its goals of sustainability and a circular economy.
