Within the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, Ahold Delhaize continues to hold the top spot as the most sustainable company.
The 12th of December, 2022, in Zaandam, the Netherlands It was announced today by Ahold Delhaize that the company has successfully defended its position as the industry pioneer in the Food and Staples Retailing sector of the 2022 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).
Ahold Delhaize was given a score of 76 out of a possible 100, which is significantly higher than the average score of 37 for the industry. With this score, Ahold Delhaize continues to hold the number one spot in the industry in the United States, ranks third in Europe, and is included in the DJSI World Index. In addition, the company has maintained its membership in the DJSI World Index.
