The Waitrose will open in-store GAIL’s takeaway bakery from June 6, 2024.
This follows positive reviews of GAIL’s products sold in various branches of Waitrose and online. The shop will be a typical GAIL’s bakery with an area of 280 square feet. In the Waitrose Canary Wharf, there will be fresh bread, mouth-watering pastries, and special coffee prepared on site for customers. Moreover, besides takeaways, the store will offer click-and-collect service as well as home and office delivery for bigger orders.
Enhancing Customer Experience at Waitrose:
The opening means that Waitrose is committed to improving customer satisfaction when shopping. The store at Canary Wharf is responsible for almost 5% of GAIL’s entire sales through Waitrose. Nationally, the sales of GAIL’s products in Waitrose stores have increased by 35% YoY. In the busy area of Canary Wharf, a new takeaway bakery has opened on lower ground floor.
