Tyson Foods Requests Applications from Local Nonprofits for its Third Annual GiveFest

Applications are now being accepted for Tyson Foods’ third annual GiveFest, a nonprofit event that benefits local communities and groups in Northwest Arkansas. Team members from Tyson Foods can attend the event, which supports charities by raising money and offers chances for team members to assist. The date of GiveFest in 2023 is set for May 23.

The Tyson Foods Senior Director of Sustainability Business Operations Tim Grailer said, “GiveFest demonstrates how much we value looking out for our friends and neighbours and gives team members opportunities to support the organisations our people and community depend on most. We consider it an honour to assist these groups with volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and increased financial sustainability.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tyson Foods World Headquarters will host a charity fair with live entertainment, a food truck lunch, and prizes for team members.

Applications for nonprofits are urged to be submitted online at www.tysongivefest.com. The application period closes at midnight on March 24, 2023. By the end of business on April 7, 2023, the chosen candidates will be informed.
