The Coca-Cola Company in North America works with Rise Up Crowdfunding LLC to launch a resource for equity crowdfunding for small businesses owned by women and minorities.
The Coca-Cola Company is pleased to sponsor Rise Up Crowdfunding’s debut. The equity crowdfunding portal enables regular people to make investments in small, minority- and women-owned businesses that are raising money.
The commitment made by Coca-Cola to diversity in its supplier base is centred on maximising procurement opportunities and actively partnering and engaging with different suppliers.
A new way for business owners to access a procedure for raising money from the crowd—which may be a community of their clients, supporters, and followers—is through the Rise Up Crowdfunding fundraising site. They might be able to win a supplier diversity contract if they are successful.
According to Fernando Hernandez, Senior Director, Supplier Diversity, The Coca-Cola Company, “Coca-aim Cola’s is to refresh the world and make a difference, and we share Rise Up’s Crowdfunding’s mission to support companies and underrepresented groups within the communities we serve.” “This much-needed resource can, in many situations, assist small businesses in growing their brands, opening new locations, or scaling up or expanding their operations.”
“We see a time when a lack of cash will not prevent the next firm from transforming the world from ever coming to fruition. According to Ruth E. Hedges, CEO of Rise Up Crowdfunding LLC, “We are thrilled to be collaborating with The Coca-Cola Company on this project to finally bring about the change we all want to see in the world.
To offer this to their members for potential investment and to direct their members to the funding site as another means to generate money, Rise Up Crowdfunding has also worked with corporate organisations.
