During the holy month of Ramadan, SPAR Oman conducts its annual Ramadan charity campaign with the intention of enhancing the quality of life of members of society who are less fortunate. Customers can make donations of non-perishable food products at collecting booths that SPAR Oman has set up in each of the 25 stores it operates around the Sultanate of Oman.

SPAR Oman, in conjunction with the community organisation Dar Al Atta’a, is organising the Ramadan Charity Drive for the sixth consecutive year at this point. This organisation promotes charitable giving through constructive collaborations in an effort to better the lives of those in the Sultanate who are unable to provide for themselves.
As part of this collaboration with SPAR Oman, Dar Al Atta’a will be distributing the non-perishable food items and other essentials for the holy month of Ramadan that have been given by consumers. The donations will have a beneficial effect on the lives of people who come from less fortunate households.
During the holy month of Ramadan, the Omanis at SPAR commemorate the spirit of the holy month by hosting community-oriented events and running special discounts. At a special ceremony that was hosted at the SPAR Madinat Sultan Qaboos Supermarket,
it was announced that the campaign would be starting earlier this year. Customers of this shop have donated their time and money to a variety of charitable causes, including celebrations held in honour of the nation’s national day.
SPAR Oman has a multifaceted responsible retailing approach, and a good number of the company’s projects are geared towards assisting inhabitants of the communities that its stores serve. On the occasion of the launch,
SPAR Oman expressed gratitude to its customers for the enthusiastic support they had shown over previous iterations of this campaign.
