SPAR Croatia reaffirms its commitment to the “Start Croatia” project

This project is dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs who offer products proudly made in Croatia.

Notably, this year saw a remarkable increase in participation, with a total of eight candidates being introduced at an INTERSPAR Hypermarket. The project’s focus on social responsibility empowers new entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase their unique products, highlight their dedication and challenges, and extend nationwide distribution opportunities to boost their brand-building efforts.

The list of finalists this year includes eight innovative Croatian products from diverse regions. These products range from Daš Pops, a frozen fruit dessert, to Tabay, featuring four sous vide meat products, Pepas offering hand-drawn strudels, Azena presenting natural creams with a rich family tradition, Barun providing ready-made bread mixtures, Pepefiš specializing in Mediterranean-style fish products, OPG Lenac offering unique BIO noodles made from dried pumpkin, and All Sweet known for its caramelized hazelnuts.

The finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their products and share their stories in a television series aired on Nova TV. “Start Croatia” Season 4 kicked off on October 8, with a total of 11 episodes, and the winning product will be announced in December, creating greater awareness among consumers.
