Share Buyback Update for Ahold Delhaize as of January 31, 2023

The Hague, the Netherlands, January 31, 2023 – Zaandam, the Netherlands During the time period beginning on January 23, 2023 and continuing through and including January 27, 2023, Ahold Delhaize was able to buyback 806,972 of its common shares. The shares were repurchased at a price that came out to an average of € 27.22 per share, with the total consideration coming to € 22 million. In accordance with the one billion euro share repurchase programme that was introduced on November 9th, 2022, these purchases were made.

To date, this programme has resulted in the reacquisition of a total of 2,597,795 common shares for a total consideration of € 71.6 million.
