Pregis has invested in expanding its blown film capacity to meet the rising demand for flexible packaging. The company’s new state-of-the-art film lines will enhance its offerings for the food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
As the market shifts towards sustainable packaging, Pregis aims to support this change. The expanded Capacity of Blown Film allows for a broader range of eco-friendly solutions, including recyclable materials under the Pregis Renew™ brand. These films contribute to cost savings and optimize shelf space compared to rigid alternatives.
According to Bob Gargione, President of Pregis Performance Flexibles, this investment aligns with both environmental goals and market needs. “Our expanded blown film capacity ensures that our customers can choose sustainable solutions that benefit their business and the planet,” said Gargione.
In addition to its increased film production, Pregis is enhancing its coating capabilities on paper and poly substrates to meet the growing demand for flexible packaging solutions.
Pregis will showcase its expanded offerings, including Blown Film Capacity, at Pack Expo in Chicago, November 3-6, 2024.
