Peter Agnefjäll is up for re-election as chair of the supervisory board, according to Ahold Delhaize.
Ahold Delhaize has announced today that the Supervisory Board is to recommend Peter Agnefjall’s reappointment as a member and Chair of the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 12th, 2023. This will take place at Ahold Delhaize.
Since April 2019, Peter Agnefjll has served as a member of the Supervisory Board, and on January 1, 2021, he was selected to take over as Chair of the Board.
Both the Governance and Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee have him on their rosters as a member. The consent of the shareholders is required prior to his reappointment to the Supervisory Board for another term of four years.
“Peter has been an outstanding leader for our Supervisory Board since 2021, and he has developed a strong and diverse Board team,” stated Helen Weir, Chair of the Governance and Nomination Committee. We are looking forward to his ongoing leadership as the company moves forward with the next phase of its Leading Together plan.”
