Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) has announced the appointment of Sir Dave Lewis is now an Operating Advisor for CD&R Funds. With over 30 years of leadership experience in global Consumer Goods and Retail sectors, Sir Dave will assist the Firm in identifying new investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies across Europe.

Currently serving as the Chair of consumer health company Haleon and a board member of food and snack multinational PepsiCo, Sir Dave has a distinguished career. He spent the majority of his professional life at Unilever, starting as a graduate trainee and eventually joining the Global Executive Team.

From 2014 to 2020, Sir Dave served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tesco, leading its market recovery and overseeing significant corporate repositioning, including strategic divestments and mergers. His appointment as an Operating Advisor to Sir Dave Lewis is now an Operating Advisor for CD&R Funds reflects his exceptional reputation for innovation and value creation.

Dave Novak, CD&R Co-President, praised Sir Dave’s expertise and leadership qualities, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute to the Firm’s success in Europe.
