In 1994, Schaillee started working for the Sara Lee Group in Belgium, where he handled a variety of marketing positions. He most recently served as a member of the executive committee of Groupe SEB, a France-based company that leads the world market for cookware, small home appliances, and professional coffee equipment. Its brands include WMF, Schaerer, All-Clad, Krups, Tefal, and Rowenta.

I have long admired Costa and value the organization’s rich heritage and history, Schaillee stated. I’m thrilled to be a part of Costa’s outstanding team and am looking forward to developing the company alongside them.

In addition to having an MBA from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School, Schaillee graduated from Catholic University Leuven in Belgium.

Schaillee succeeds Jill McDonald, the previous CEO of Costa. He will be located in London and report to Stoichkova.
