NEW CAMPAIGN: ALDI SOUTH TALKS ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
We’ll do it.” With this message, ALDI SOUTH is launching a new campaign on 31 October that draws attention to the discounter’s long-standing commitment to climate and the environment.
ALDI SOUTH has been implementing numerous measures to protect the climate and the environment for many years. Since 2017, the discounter has been using exclusively green electricity for its branches and logistics centres, has saved almost 13 million yellow bags of plastic material in 2021[1] and cooperates with social institutions such as the local food banks for food donations. In addition, ALDI SOUTH is the No. 1 organic retailer in its own sales area [2].
The new campaign focuses on measures taken by ALDI SOUTH to protect the climate and the environment. “As a responsible discounter, we want to lead the way when it comes to climate and the environment and make sustainable shopping affordable for everyone, even in challenging times. This is what our message “Good for all” stands for, and we want to show this in our new campaign,” says Christian Göbel, Group Director Customer Interaction, Marketing and Communication at ALDI SOUTH.
The campaign will run for two weeks from Monday, 31 October 2022, including online, via social media and via indoor screens and posters in the stores. An infographic as a key visual illustrates how ALDI SOUTH is committed to climate and the environment and what has already been achieved.
