Fresh Look and Renewals: M&S Expands New Convenience Stores
M&S is to expand its convenience store offering by opening 10 new stores and refurbishing up to 50 sites across the country. The Liverpool Street Station shop, which is the first M&S convenience store at a mainline railway station, has just reopened as part of a wider refresh programme across UK railways.
Better Customer Experience:
The Liverpool Street Mezzanine store now has an additional entrance, improved sections such as food-to-go and freshly baked products, alongside more self-service tills, to enhance the customer experience further.
Store Openings for the Future:
In the upcoming year, they are planing to expand its franchise-operated convenience store business with the help of partners. M&S’s goal is to open a minimum of 10 convenience store in new locations while renewing up to 50 existing stores. This will further strengthen M&S’s £1 billion convenience business. By the conclusion of this year, M&S aims to have over 40 stores in train stations across the UK, including recently added locations at Ealing Broadway and Belfast.
