LuLu Group Expands Its Dubai Presence with Grand Opening of Hypermarket at the Iconic Dubai Mall

 

In a significant move to reinforce its presence and brand equity, LuLu Group has unveiled its world-class hypermarket within the iconic Dubai Mall. The 72,000 sq. ft. LuLu Hypermarket was officially inaugurated by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, in the presence of Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman of LuLu Group, and other dignitaries.

This grand opening expands the Group’s store count to 24 within the Dubai emirate. The state-of-the-art store primarily focuses on offering a wide range of products, including grocery items, fresh food, fruits and vegetables, bakery products, health and beauty items, stationery, household essentials, IT products, and fresh flowers, among others.

Situated in The Dubai Mall Zabeel, this hypermarket is part of an ongoing initiative to diversify the retail portfolio. It aims to serve the diverse multinational population residing in and visiting the Dubai Mall and Downtown areas.

Yusuffali MA, speaking at the inauguration, expressed his excitement, saying, “We are extremely happy and excited to join hands with Emaar to open our newest hypermarket at The Dubai Mall, which is the world’s biggest and most prestigious shopping and leisure destination, welcoming over 100 million visitors every year from around the world.”

He continued, “As one of the leading retailers in the region, it is our constant endeavor to innovate and offer a world-class shopping experience to the large multinational population residing and visiting Dubai. Over the years, catering to different nationalities, we have seen the growing demand for internationally sourced products and specialty ranges based on food trends from around the world. It will be our continuous commitment to offer high-quality products at the most affordable prices in the market.”

Yusuffali also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the UAE for their continuous support and to the Emaar Group for the opportunity, looking forward to a mutually rewarding association.

LuLu, which has recently expanded its global sourcing operations with new centers in Italy and Poland, is focusing on adding an exclusive range of products, especially in the “healthy & diet” category, including free-from range, organic, sustainable, and vegan products, among others. The new hypermarket at Dubai Mall also boasts a substantial “global food section” offering “country-specific” popular products from around the world, catering to the diverse tastes of the vast tourist population in Dubai.

Access to LuLu Hypermarket is through the Zabeel parking area of Dubai Mall.
