Kraft Heinz has been included in Fast Company’s 2023 list of the world’s most innovative businesses.

The prestigious yearly list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2023 has been updated to include The Kraft Heinz Company (NASDAQ: KHC). The list this year highlights companies that are setting the pace for future innovations in their various fields. Due to its efforts to disrupt the food industry, including the introduction of its joint venture, the Kraft Heinz Not Company, in 2022, which will make plant-based foods more approachable, Kraft Heinz was ranked as the second most innovative company in the Consumer Goods sector.

Diana Frost, Kraft Heinz’s Chief Growth Officer for North America, declared, “At Kraft Heinz, we are innovating quicker than ever before. “This award is a testament to the outstanding success we’ve made to lead the food industry in the future. We’ve completely reengineered our business in a short amount of time, renovated our entire portfolio of iconic brands, and changed marketing, and that’s just the beginning.

With an ambition to be the most innovative food company in the world, Kraft Heinz is taking a holistic approach to innovation through both disruption and portfolio renovation, guided by consumer-first insights and powered by cutting-edge partnerships, processes, packaging, technologies, and ingredients. The iconic Capri Sun juice drink has undergone the most extensive redesign since 1986 as part of Kraft Heinz’s portfolio innovation and renovation efforts to reduce the quantity of sugar by an average of 40%. Additionally, the business unveiled Homebake, a brand-new product that reinvents family dinners by fusing customer insights with a ground-breaking technology. These are just a few instances showing how Kraft Heinz is promoting invention to steer the direction of food in the future.

“By combining NotCo’s first-of its-kind technology and proven AI solutions with the scale, power and iconic brand portfolio of Kraft Heinz, we are developing plant-based food at a level of speed, taste and quality not previously seen in the industry,” said Lucho Lopez-May, Chief Executive Officer of The Kraft Heinz Not Company. “This recognition is fantastic evidence of the impact we’re having, and it fuels our ongoing ambition to democratize plant-based and set a new benchmark for plant-based innovation.”

The editors and writers of Fast Company searched out the businesses that were pioneering the most in different parts of the world. Additionally, they evaluated nominations that came in through their application procedure.

One of the most eagerly awaited editorial projects of the year is Fast Company’s trademark franchise, The World’s Most Innovative Companies. It offers an up-close view of the innovative and inspiring work being done by businesses in all spheres of the industry.

“Honoring this year’s Most Innovative Companies has been an odd and exciting year. This year’s list includes some of the most innovative organizations that are revolutionizing our world on a daily basis, including NASA and upstarts MrBeast as well as established companies like McDonald’s. “Everyone on this list does something wholly distinctively different, but they all share innovation,” said Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company.

On April 19 and 20, Fast Company will hold its third annual Most Innovative Companies Summit. The virtual summit honors the most innovative businesses and offers a behind-the-scenes look at contemporary commercial trends and what it will take to invent in 2023. The March/April 2023 edition of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies is now available online, as an iTunes app, and on newsstands starting on March 14. #FCMostInnovative is the slogan.
