John Martin New CEO Of Ocado Solutions
Ocado, the British online supermarket and technology group, has revealed that John Martin, currently a non-executive director at the company, will assume the role of CEO for Ocado Solutions starting on September 1, 2023.
As part of his new position, John Martin will relinquish his seat on the board and step down from his roles as chair of the audit committee and member of the board.

According to Rick Haythornthwaite, John Martin possesses extensive experience in strategic, operational, and financial management, gained from leading large international businesses.
The board firmly believes that he is the ideal successor to Luke Jensen and possesses the necessary credentials to build upon the company’s strong foundation.
Luke Jensen, the current executive director and CEO of Ocado Solutions, has informed the board of his intention to retire on September 30, 2023. He plans to focus on external, non-executive director positions.
Having served as the CEO of Ocado Solutions since 2017 and a board member since 2018, Luke has been a crucial figure in transforming the company into a global technology solutions business.
Tim Steiner, the chief executive officer of Ocado, acknowledged Luke’s significant role in the company’s transformation and growth into a global technology solutions provider.
