In the city of Dongguan, a SPAR China partner opens a new neighborhood store.

Jiarong, a Guangdong-based SPAR China partner, has established a new SPAR neighborhood supermarket in Liaobu Town, Dongguan City.

The new store, which has a 227m2 sales space, is situated in a neighborhood and provides a comprehensive selection to meet everyday needs, including fresh vegetables, drinks, snacks, and non-food goods.

Many people from Liaobu Town visited the new store on opening day to see it and experience the buzzing atmosphere.

The operating space of the neighborhood shop model at SPAR Jiarong ranges from 100 to 500 square meters. It is a neighborhood grocery store with a premium selection of convenience items.

The menu is designed to meet the consumption demands and preferences of the community’s members while also reflecting the brand’s value proposition of “excellent life, surrounded by joy.”

About SPAR China

SPAR was introduced to China in 2004 with the signing of the licence agreement for Shandong province, followed by the addition of more partners.

The privately-owned retail chains licensed to operate SPAR have a cooperative relationship.

As a result, this partnership aligns with the original SPAR mission of working together to reduce costs, maximise sales, and increase profits.

The SPAR China Partners are part of a leading international group but maintain 100% local ownership
