Nothing unites people like food and a worthwhile cause, according to Kroger Chef Mike Florea. “It was an honour to collaborate with Kellogg to develop a daring family supper that promotes camaraderie and funds the food safety and nutrition initiatives of the FMI Foundation. We are happy to have created a menu that emphasises several of our different brands and makes dishes that are simple and reasonably priced for consumers across the nation, despite the fierce competition from our fellow chefs.”
The FMI Foundation, which is committed to delivering essential research and education to address issues with food safety, health, and nutrition, received 100% of the event’s earnings, which totaled more than $730,000.
