ILIP Brings Green Packaging to Bologna
ILIP, a leader in food and tableware packaging, is attending Marca 2025. The event will take place in Bologna on January 15-16. Visitors can find ILIP at Hall 36, Stand C/35.
At the event, ILIP will showcase two main packaging lines. These include Fresh Food Packaging and Food Service Packaging. Both lines focus on using sustainable and recyclable materials.
A Focus on Sustainability
This year, ILIP will also introduce the Sustainability Manifesto by the ILPA Group. This document highlights their commitment to the environment. It also focuses on worker safety, community support, and fair business practices.
The Sustainability Manifesto is an important step. It guides ILIP and the ILPA Group towards better environmental care. It also encourages social responsibility.
Innovative Packaging Solutions
At Marca 2025, ILIP will present two key product lines:
- Fresh Food Packaging:
ILIP offers trays for fresh foods like meat, fish, and dairy. These trays come in two types:- HeatSealing Master: Designed for sealed packaging with modified atmospheres.
- StretchMaster: Made for use with stretch film or flow wrap machines.
Both types use eco-design principles. This means they use less material while maintaining high performance. The trays are made from either recycled PET (R-PET) or Mater-Bi®, a compostable bioplastic.
These trays are fully recyclable. R-PET trays can go into plastic recycling. Mater-Bi® trays can be composted.
- Food Service Packaging:
ILIP’s Fibraware line includes products made from wood and plant fibers. These materials are natural and sustainable. The line includes cups, bowls, deli boxes, and trays. These products are ideal for both hot and cold foods.ILIP also offers customized packaging. Businesses can get cups and containers with their own branding. These options are available even for small orders.
A Circular Economy Approach
ILIP is committed to a circular economy. They use a “tray-to-tray” process to recycle old trays into new ones. This reduces waste and promotes reuse.
ILIP has also invested in renewable energy. Their factories use solar panels to lower energy consumption. This helps reduce their carbon footprint.
A Vision for the Future
ILIP believes in combining innovation with sustainability. Their packaging solutions are practical, eco-friendly, and forward-thinking.
