Group Executive Board change: CLAAS names Jan Hendrik Mohr as new CEO

Jan-Hendrik Mohr will take over as CEO of the CLAAS Group beginning on April 1, 2023, per the CLAAS Group Shareholders’ Committee’s appointment.

Current CLAAS Group CEO Thomas Böck had made the decision to leave his position and seek other opportunities. The Group Executive Board and shareholders both expressed remorse for this choice. They were successful in locating a capable replacement in Jan-Hendrik Mohr.

“Jan Hendrik Mohr is highly respected at CLAAS and in our industry. He knows CLAAS like no one else and has proven his worth. He shaped the company during his many years in various management positions. Together with his colleagues in the Group Executive Board and all employees, he will build on the successful work of his predecessor and lead CLAAS boldly into the future,” says Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the CLAAS Group.

Graduate engineer Jan-Hendrik Mohr has been working for the CLAAS Group since 1984, constantly taking on more responsibility. Since 2008, he has served as a member of the Group Executive Board. He presently oversees the Business Unit Grain and will continue to do so in that capacity. Thomas Böck bids farewell to CLAAS after more than 16 years there.
