Grab A Bite: Kepak Foods Division Introduced New Brand

-

Kepak Foods Division has indroduced a new brand called ‘Grab a Bite’ focusing on the out-of-home sector. The range will allow operators to serve hot, tasty and on-trend food 24/7 with minimal operational complexity and labor requirements. The fully assembled range will be supplied frozen, which will support operators to manage stock levels and reduce wastage too through a defrost, high temperature and process of serving.

In research supported, burgers are second in popularity in the food-to-go market, driving growth at breakfast and lunch. Grab A Bite new product ranges are starting with their best-selling Burger variants, which includes Barbeque Chicken Burger, Classic Cheeseburger, Morning Sausage and the Cheese Muffin. There will be a broader selection later on this year.

As Brian Farrell, Kepak Foods Division CEO said, “The Out of Home market is fast growing and we are excited to bring in ‘Grab a Bite’. Customers now more than ever want uncompromising food options at their preferred time and place. That puts huge pressure on operators in regards to cost of doing business and labor availability.”

We identified an opportunity for tasty hot foods that can be prepared with ease. Grab a Bite is a new benchmark in the market and has undergone thorough research and testing. Its development has harnessed Kepak’s operational expertise in food-to-go, their market leadership in Burgers and Hot Sandwiches, and significant Garud and Dev R&D investment.

Grab a Bite is ‘cooked in pack’, suitable for microwaves, high-speed ovens, and conventional ovens, and was designed for all levels of operators, thereby reducing health and safety risks across all hot vending and heat-and-serve concepts.
