In the month of January, Morrisons will give consumers a discount of 5 pence off of each litre of fuel that they purchase at the gas pumps.
Customers will receive a coupon for a 5 pence discount each litre of petrol they buy if they spend at least £35 in the store between Thursday, January 5 and Sunday, January 15, and redeem it between those dates.
Customers have until the 22nd of January to use the offer at any of the Morrisons gas stations*, and the coupon itself is valid until that date.
In addition to the fuel discount, Morrisons is assisting its customers in stretching their budgets through the tightening conditions of January by decreasing the costs of 130 items in its Savers collection, which is an entry-level product.
The reductions affect a variety of products, including pantry basics and household goods, as well as fresh and frozen foods that are necessary for the preparation of family dinners and lunches.
Rachel Eyre, the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Morrisons, said the following: “January is typically a financial strain after the expense of Christmas, and this year we know the cost of living continues to hurt consumers’ purses as well.
We hope that by providing a discount on one of the most significant costs that individuals in the UK must contend with, our fuel offer will make it possible for people’s money to go a little bit further.
The minimum customer spend of £35 does not apply to the following products and services: gasoline and tobacco products, lottery tickets, the Morrisons Café,
gift vouchers and cards, infant and formula milk, cash back, dry cleaning, fireworks, online games and instant tickets, photo printing, saver stamps, postage stamps, ‘top-up’ mobile phone cards, delivery charges and passes, garden centres and pharmacies (where applicable).
In the United Kingdom, Morrisons has 339 service stations.
All customers that spend £40 in store between Thursday 29th September and Sunday 9th September will receive a coupon allowing them to save 5p on every litre of fuel purchased.
The coupon is redeemable at all of Morrisons petrol stations* and customers have until Sunday 16th October to spend it.
