EDEKA Jacoby in Hoheneggelsen opens on September 15 and impresses with a variety of offers, freshness and quality
Fresh, regional, modern – this is how the new EDEKA Jacoby will be presented at Hauptstraße 33 from Thursday, September 15
.In the newly built full-range retailer, the Jacoby family of entrepreneurs and their 45-strong market team will ensure local supply in Hoheneggelsen. Customers can look forward to a wide range of products and personal service.
“We are delighted to be able to share our passion for food with our customers here as well.
You will be amazed by the wide range of goods with an unpackaged station, extensive service counters for meat, sausage and cheese and the special atmosphere that the new market offers,” says Günther Jacoby, who, together with his family, has been running an EDEKA market in Sehnde and has owned an EDEKA store in Lehrte since 2016.
Variety of offers with freshness and quality
On an area of around 1,650 square meters, customers will find an extensive range of goods with around 25,000 items: It ranges from GUT&GÜNSTIG products at discount prices to branded items and national and international specialties. The focus throughout the store is on freshness and variety in EDEKA quality.
The range of organic and regional products as well as vegetarian and vegan items is already extensive and is constantly being expanded. At the unpackaged station, customers can bring their own reusable cans and fill any quantity of products such as pasta, rice or nuts.
At the salad bar, customers will find freshly prepared salads every day and in the large fruit and vegetable department there are local and seasonal products as well as exotic fruits from Europe and around the world. Ideal:
With the EDEKA reusable nets, it is possible to do without plastic bags when shopping for fruit and vegetables and at the service counter for baked goods. The store also relies on a comprehensive reusable concept for all other service counters.
A special shopping experience with gastronomic offerings
At the spacious service counters for meat, sausage, cheese and baked goods, as well as in the café area, customers can look forward to a varied variety in the future.
This also includes the daily changing lunch menu. The spacious seating area offers customers around 30 seats. A special highlight at the meat service counter is the range of dry-aged pork and beef. These are slowly matured meat specialties that are becoming increasingly popular.
is on regionality The Jacoby family attaches great importance to regionality: “We consciously work with many regional suppliers in order to strengthen local economic power,” explains Jacqueline Jacoby.
The regional suppliers include Eierhof Groß Lafferde, the Dettmer family, BioBördeland GbR, Machwitz Kaffee und Tee Seeger, HANNOVER ICE GmbH, BrauManufaktur Härke, Hemme Milch Wedemark, Hof im Greth GbR and Schäfer’s-Backwaren.
Other regional products, especially from the fruit and vegetable department, can be found in the range under the EDEKA Heimatliebe label.
Modern technology for low energy consumption
The new full-range supplier is also exemplary when it comes to environmental protection: In addition to the standard lighting with energy-saving LED systems,
the refrigerated cabinets work with the natural refrigerant CO2 and are closed with glass doors to keep the temperature constant. In addition, the market is equipped with a photovoltaic system on the roof.
Social commitment on site
The market team feels connected to the region and would like to show this beyond the range – for example with regular donations to the Hildesheimer Tafel and a donation marathon for the opening of the new market.
Here, customers with a purchase value of ten euros or more receive a donation chip. They can then throw this on a large donation wall into the collection tube of one of ten clubs in the region. At the end of the campaign, the donation chips are counted and the total of 4,000 euros is divided based on the ranking determined.
Flexible and convenient shopping
The EDEKA Jacoby is a modern supermarket with contemporary shopping convenience.
The checkout area has five checkouts. In total, EDEKA customers not only have 100 spacious parking spaces, but also an electric charging station for e-cars and e-bikes. Another highlight: there is free WiFi throughout the store.
