EDEKA Opladen Reopens Welcoming 4000 Customers After Renovation

After six weeks of renovations, shoppers at the EDEKA supermarket in Leverkusen-Opladen are eagerly lining up to enjoy the store’s new features. During the grand opening replenished customers was over 4000 at the store which was now modernized to the consumer’s needs. After the store’s Pommerenstrasse location received a facelift, it was outfitted with enhanced shopping convenience features, new products, and fresh looks adding to customer satisfaction.

Store manager Ioannis Papiotis expressed his excitement about the strong turnout. “Every single one of our customers seemed to have had a positive experience with our store changes.” He continued with telling us how favorite changes of clients have shifted from what customers saw in the enhanced store layout to what fresh products were offered instead. The store changes were clearly focused on appearance, however broadening the selection of fresh foods available has improved customer satisfaction.

Community EDEKA Store Renovation Supports EDEKA Opladen

After the store’s reopening, Papiotis together with his 110 employees distributed yellow roses to customers as appreciation for their support during the store’s closure. “We wanted to thank them for their understanding during the renovation,” said Papiotis. He too thanked his team for their hard work. “Opening days are tough and our team works equally to ensure there are no bumps along the way,” he added.

Following the refurbishment, the EDEKA branch in Opladen has an improved customer experience and shopping atmosphere. The store has also enhanced it’s modern appeal and community centrality.
