Dr Pepper Helps Students Chase Their Dreams
Dr Pepper®, part of the Keurig Dr Pepper brand family, announced the winners of its 16th Annual Tuition Giveaway. Eight lucky students received $100,000 each during the College Football Conference Championship games on December 7th. These students competed by throwing footballs into a giant Dr Pepper can in just 30 seconds.

How It Works
The finalists competed at the ACC, Big 12, SEC, and Big Ten championship games. Here’s who took home the top prizes:

  • ACC Winner: Miller, Baylor University
  • Big 12 Winner: Colleen, Lincoln Memorial University
  • SEC Winner: Christian, California State Polytechnic University Pomona
  • Big Ten Winner: Nyah, Salem State University

Each runner-up also received a significant tuition prize.

Stories That Inspire
Dr Pepper asked students to submit essays about their academic goals and how winning tuition would change their lives. Colleen, the Big 12 winner, shared her dream of making healthcare more accessible. She revealed how losing her father to a preventable condition motivated her to ensure others receive early medical care.
“Winning $100,000 in tuition is life-changing. Dr Pepper has given me the opportunity to work toward breaking down financial barriers in medicine,” Colleen said.

A Legacy of Giving Back
Since its inception, the Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway has awarded millions of dollars to students, helping them reach their educational and professional goals. This year’s winners represent a range of aspirations, from improving healthcare access to advancing technology and education.
