Customers now have more time to use the Cashpots that they have accumulated thanks to a new feature that was added to the Asda Rewards loyalty app.
The grocery store is increasing the amount of time, from one month to three months, that customers have to spend a voucher after it has been created via the mobile app. As a result of the modification, clients who want to stockpile their Cashpots in preparation for big events will now have a greater amount of time to make use of the voucher after it has been generated.
Customers are also being reminded by Asda that any unused cash that they have in their Cashpots and that has not yet been converted into vouchers will become invalid six months from the end of the month in which the cash was earned.
This implies that everyone who started using Asda Rewards in July of last year is required to transfer any money earned during that month into vouchers before the month of January is up. Customers will be notified via the app each month of the amount of their Cashpot that is about to become invalid, and this message will serve as a gentle reminder to them.
The Senior Director of Loyalty at Asda, Mark Baxter, stated that “We know that many Asda Rewards customers like to save up their Cashpots to spend on special occasions.” Because of this modification, individuals can now spend their rewards for a longer period of time, and more significantly, they can accumulate even larger quantities to use anytime they wish.
More than three million consumers use the Asda Rewards app on a regular basis to earn pounds each time they purchase at Asda. During the month of December, nearly twenty million pounds’ worth of Asda Rewards vouchers were used in-store. Asda Rewards continues to enjoy an enormous amount of popularity. Customers have a wide variety of options for making use of their cash pots due to the fact that vouchers can be issued with amounts as low as one pound (£1) and as much as one hundred pounds (£100).
The present savings available on the loyalty app are a supplement to the larger Asda community initiative, which offers assistance to communities who may be struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living. Deals such as “Winter Warmer” and “Kids Eat for £1” from Asda, for instance, have just been extended all the way through March 31, 2023.
