Marks and Spencer Group plc (M&S) has announced Alison Dolan as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will replace interim CFO Jeremy Townsend, who will stay until May 2025. Alison’s start date will be announced soon.
M&S CEO Stuart Machin is excited about Alison joining the team. He said, “Alison is a great addition with her experience in fast-paced, digital businesses. She will help us transform M&S.”
Jeremy Townsend has been thanked for his work, leaving M&S in strong financial health. He will remain until May 2025.
Alison Dolan is currently CFO at Rightmove plc and has held roles at News UK and Sky. She said, “I’m excited to join M&S. I love the brand and look forward to helping it grow. There are many opportunities ahead.”
