“PINK IS THE NEW BLUE” IS SUPPORTED BY CARREFOUR BELGIUM.

12 January 2023, Brussels Since its founding in 2007, the non-profit organisation Pink Ribbon has supported women with breast cancer in Belgium. Around 100,000 Belgian women are affected by this type of cancer, and several measures are in place to help them. “Pink Is the New Blue” is one such project. Since 2008, Carrefour Belgium has partnered with Pink Ribbon, and it is proud to continue participating in this effort. Its purpose is to transform “Blue Monday,” the most miserable day of the year, into a day of optimism and cooperation. Carrefour Belgium and Pink Ribbon want to establish “Pink Monday” on January 16, 2023.

Instead of “Blue Monday,” we’ll have “Pink Monday.”

A few years ago, the phrase “Blue Monday” was introduced into our lexicon for the first first time. It’s hard not to feel down and anxious now that Christmas is past, winter has here in full force, and the days are becoming shorter. The objective of “Pink Monday” is to dispel all of this pessimism and replace it with hope, and “Blue Monday” should be a day dedicated to the early identification and prevention of cancer, as well as the emotional and financial support of all women who are afflicted with this illness.

How to avoid letting “Blue Monday” get you down with a little help from “Pink Monday”

People who suffer from depression may find it challenging to pull themselves out of their pessimistic frame of mind at times. However, this is not an insurmountable task, and there are answers that might assist individuals in maintaining a positive attitude. It’s a good idea to try things like listening to music or scheduling time just for oneself. Setting goals for oneself is yet another great strategy. This is exactly what you are able to achieve if you participate in “Pink Monday.” It presents an opportunity to invest in a significant project while also demonstrating support for a worthy cause. The concept of “Pink Monday” will make it simpler to face this day, which is brimming with encouragement and optimism.

“Just a little of pink.”

Carrefour Belgium and Pink Ribbon are celebrating this significant day by working together to make the entire globe a little bit pinker. There are a variety of actions you may take to demonstrate your commitment to this cause. The use of social networking sites is one option. It’s very easy; all you have to do is take a picture of yourself wearing anything pink and post it on one of your social media accounts with the hashtag #PinkMonday. Supporting the cause can also be demonstrated by donning a piece of pink apparel or accessorising with a pink object, such as a bracelet or necklace in the shape of a pink ribbon.
