September 5, 2022

Edeka Many young people are just starting their careers. Eleven young people started their training as salespeople, integrated commercial specialists, retail salespeople and fresh produce specialists at EDEKA Wehrmann this summer. 30 trainees are currently employed in the five EDEKA Wehrmann stores.

As early as July, the Wehrmann family of entrepreneurs invited the new trainees and their friends and family to a trainee welcome party at the Wehrmann Academy in Eilshausen. Here they were welcomed by the entire management, the store managers and their sponsors from the stores. They received the first important information about their new employer and the training. “With this joint greeting and getting to know each other, we would like to make it easier for our young talents and their parents to start into this new phase of their lives. It is precisely the first professional experiences that shape young people for their future careers. We would like to lay an excellent foundation so that we can keep them as good employees for a long time after their training and be able to develop them further,” emphasizes Julia Wehrmann,

The company EDEKA Wehrmann is known in the Herford area for the very good training and the many further training and career opportunities. In this way, all training positions could be filled this year. “We are already looking for potential trainees for the coming year. Interested parties can contact our stores at any time,” says Julia Wehrmann.
