In the brand comparison by Stiftung Warentest, the “Vegane Schnitzel Klassik” of ALDI cuts off its own brand “MEIN Veggie Tag” with the overall quality rating “GUT (2,3)”. This convinces the ALDI product as the best own brand and seeks second place in the overall rating. ALDI Nord and ALDI SÜD lead the product in the standard range.
Stiftung Warentest tests meat replacement products

Stiftung Warentest has tested 18 different meat replacement products in its current paper (04/2023). The overall note was determined not only by the affordable price (2,39 euros per 200-g pack), but of course also by the taste and smell of the vegan slice. With the rating “GUT (2,3)” it is not only the best proprietary brand in the overall part, but is also recommended by Stiftung Warentest as a price tip.
Whether a vegan or vegetarian diet is now lived out of conviction or whether it can simply be something without animal ingredients, with “MEIN”
Veggie Day makes a meat-free diet quite possible. Because in addition to the vegan Schnitzel variations, customers can choose between numerous products such as vegan snack or vegan hack.
