Aldi to Create 5,500 New Jobs Across the UK in 2024

London, UK, February 21 2024 – Aldi has announced plans to create 5,500 new jobs across the UK in 2024. The supermarket giant, which operates over 1,000 stores, will hire for various positions throughout the year. New roles at Aldi include Store Assistants, Managers, and Cleaners in stores opening nationwide.

Aldi will also recruit for positions at its 11 Regional Distribution Centres and Head Office. The company is offering a competitive starting salary for Store and Warehouse Assistants at £12.00, increasing to £12.95. Within the M25 area, employees will start at £13.55, rising to £13.85.

Aldi remains the only supermarket in the UK to offer paid breaks. These paid breaks provide an average store colleague with an additional £900 annually. The company emphasizes the importance of its workforce in its continued growth and success.
