This year, Aldi is planning to bring on more than 500 new apprentices across the United Kingdom. It is the largest apprenticeship intake ever for the fourth-largest supermarket in the United Kingdom, and there are chances in Stores, Logistics, and Buying, in addition to positions for HGV drivers.
A Store Apprentice at Aldi has the potential to earn £220.20 a week in their first year of training, with that number increasing to £321.90 after two years, inclusive of paid breaks. While this is going on, those working in logistics can make up to £240 per week, and drivers can make up to £378 per week.
“We have found so many hard-working and ambitious people through our apprenticeship scheme over the years, and I have no doubt that it will be the same again this year,” said Lisa Murphy, Learning & Development Director at Aldi UK. “We have found so many hard-working and ambitious people through our apprenticeship scheme.”
Apprentices get the opportunity to learn everything there is to know about the grocery store industry by participating in the programme and working at one of the nation’s retailers that is seeing the most rapid growth. In addition to this, the programme offers them with new skills and qualifications that are recognised nationally as they progress through it. Along the way, they receive assistance and support from some of the most skilled professionals in the field.
“We are continuously on the lookout for more outstanding colleagues to join the Aldi team – and this covers across the board in terms of ages, roles, and backgrounds.”
