Fremantle Builds Smarter Content Supply Chain with PFT and AWS

Fremantle teamed up with Prime Focus Technologies (PFT) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for constructing their new international content supply chain infrastructure. The cloud-based platform enables Fremantle worldwide operations to function at a more efficient level by ensuring smooth management of content across markets.

The purpose of this project remains straightforward because the solution aims to develop a smart content supply chain which enhances efficiency and decreases expenses and accelerates delivery times.

Connecting teams and content

Fremantle maintains operations in 27 countries which results in continuous transmission of video audio and metadata. Such a large operation demands a system with the capacity to maintain pace.

AWS enables Fremantle Media to achieve:

AI-powered workflows with CLEAR® Smart MAM

The media management software CLEAR® Smart MAM from PFT will be implemented by Fremantle. The system utilizes AWS and performs AI analysis across every stage of content processing within the supply chain.

Key AI features include:

  • Auto-tagging with contextual metadata
  • Smart search across global libraries
  • Workflow automation enables the creation of editing processes and it allows version control alongside packaging capabilities.
  • Better planning for multi-platform content rollouts

The system change allows Fremantle to process content with speed and monetize their releases while securing their distribution future.

Built for global growth

Under the direction of Thalia Crone who serves as Global Head of Media Supply Chain Operations at Fremantle the company created this new platform. She directs Operations at Fremantle by consolidating content creation with sales networks and distribution infrastructure systems.

Through the new content supply chain Fremantle Commercial and International division will optimize its ability to generate commercial profits from global distribution and digital publishing and branded content operations.
