HERSHEY, Pa., September 10, 2024 – The Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY) has appointed Michael Del Pozzo as President of US Confection, effective September 16, 2024. Del Pozzo will lead the next phase of growth for Hershey’s iconic brands, including Hershey’s, Reese’s, and Jolly Rancher.
Del Pozzo joins Hershey from PepsiCo, where he spent 23 years leading major brands like Gatorade® and Frito Lay®. In his recent role as President and General Manager of Gatorade, he transformed the sports drink business into a portfolio of fitness brands. His expertise in consumer insights and driving growth will now guide Hershey’s US Confection segment.

Del Pozzo will work closely with Kristen Riggs, President of Salty Snacks, and Rohit Grover, President of International, to support Hershey’s broader business strategy. He succeeds Charles Raup, who is retiring after 15 years of service.
